Tidal level monitoring network

At the moment, the majority of the tidal stations of the Portuguese navy authority were made by Amberjack Solutions. These high accurate stations measure the tidal level in several harbours of Portuguese Mainland, Madeira and Azores archipelago. The water level is measured using a highly accurate RADAR sensor.

The accuracy of the timestamp is achieved by GPS and NTP synchronization. Data is delivered at one-minute rate, in real time to the clients server. In addition to these permanent stations, Amberjack Solutions has been developing campaign tidal stations to be used on several international works developed by the Portuguese Maritime Authority with great success.
