Installation of weather station for Associação Agrícola de São Miguel.

The first of six weather stations from a project developed by Associação Agrícola de São Miguel was installed. This system of remote monitoring, in real time, will provide the farmers with data that can be used to define strategies. For example, the information provided by the sensor that measures the degree of humidity in the upper and lower leaves will make it possible to assess the probability of fungus occurring in crops and the possible need for the application of phytopharmaceuticals. Likewise, the information provided by the rainfall sensor will help farmers assess the need to activate irrigation systems.
